How Did Bible prophesied and predicted The Coming World War III?

 

The cruise missile airstrike against Syria dominates the news. With 26 Syrian military jets destroyed, and Syrian-ally Russia condemning the action, we feel the winds of war. Will this event be the catalyst of World War III ? And, more importantly, is this a sign that the prophecies of the end of the world and the beginning of the kingdom of God are soon to be fulfilled?
We are not told exactly when Christ will come, but He spoke of things to watch for so that we could get prepared.
The Bible predicts war as a sign of the end. Before Jesus ascended to heaven, he met with his disciples on the Mount of Olives, and spoke of the coming of His future kingdom. They asked, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
In answer, he included war: “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars.”
 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.- 1 JOHN 3:15-18

Further, he explained that global conflicts would be ongoing: “See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom ...”
Finally He added a point that helps us see that we are truly living in the end times when he predicted that these events would happen more often and with greater suffering right before His second coming: “All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.”
By comparing wars to birth pains at the beginning and ending stages of pregnancy, He gave a clue as to how wars fit into the picture of prophecy. As pregnancy reaches it final stage, there is an increase in the pain and frequency of contractions. In a similar way, wars would increase in intensity and power just before the end of the world.
How can we possibly miss seeing the fulfillment of this prediction in our day? Think of the 20th century alone, including two World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, the never-ending fights in the Middle East, and 9-11 and the constant threat of terrorism, and we see Jesus’ prophecy fulfilled before our very eyes. The Bible does not predict a specific third World War, but it does give us trends to be aware of.
One note of hope in all this — it appears that Jesus knew of the potential of weapons of mass destruction that could obliterate nearly the entire planet. He promised that such universal ruin would not be allowed before His return: “And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.”

 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:55-57 KJV

But as important as wars are in the final scheme of things, Jesus gave another prophecy that even more specifically tells us exactly when He will return, that of the gospel being preached to all. “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
In the midst of global conflict, the church has its marching orders. We are to be soldiers for Christ, on a mission of destruction and salvation. We are called to destroy the works of the devil, to send cruise missiles of Bible truth to get rid of Satan’s planes carrying lethal lies that cause spiritual death for so many. Satan has a lot of different weapons in his arsenal. One is the attraction to hedonistic living. He causes people to lose their connection to the Life-giver, Jesus, by getting them to believe that they will be happier by living for pleasure. The apostle Paul predicted that in the last days people would be “lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.” To destroy this argument, God needs a whole church that reveals in words and deeds that they are the happiest people in the world. They can demonstrate by living for Jesus that following the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount gives a peace that the world can’t give.
Another of Satan’s effective bombs is the popular idea that if we are good people, we can save ourselves by our good works. Whether it is recycling, voting on the right side, habitually saying please and thank you, or whatever other positive activity (and these are all good things), many trust that their one virtue will ultimately win them heaven. But it is a deception. The church is called to reveal that personal goodness won’t save anyone because we have all breathed in the spiritual chemical agent of sin and it taints everything we do. We all need a Savior. We carry the weapon of truth about salvation through Christ: “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” The same truth reminds all that good works are the result of salvation, not the cause: “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
As we watch world events, let us keep awake to see where we stand. And let us be about our business of sharing the good news so that the final end can come. That will be the beginning of a new world without war, pain and bloodshed. “Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man ... and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”

World War 3

OVER 2 BILLION WILL DIE!

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;- 2 Peter 1:5 

The question is not, “Is there going to be a World War III?” It is in your Bible. There is not a one tenth of one percent chance that it is not going to happen. Another world war is coming, and it will be the biggest world war ever. According to the Bible, one out of three people on the earth will die in this war of all wars! The prophecy is found in Revelation chapter nine, verse 15: “And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.”

The “third part of men” would be over two billion people! Other translations read “one-third of the human race”, “one-third of all the people on earth”, “one-third of humanity”. They all say the same thing. A war is just ahead that will wipe out over two billion human beings!

The War of All Wars

Prior to the 20th Century, there had never been a war with one million fatalities. Then came World War I in 1914, with 8.2 million dead. They called it “The Great War.” With the founding of the League of Nations, we had hoped that this type of carnage would never happen again. Twenty years later, 52 million people died in World War II. As if something had come unhinged in the human soul, we cried out, “How can we ever stop this?” With the founding of the United Nations we had hoped that the solution to world peace was at hand. I have the dreadful assignment of telling you, it is not fixed. There is another war coming. There will neither be 8 million dead nor 52 million dead. This war that is coming will kill 2.2 billion, forty times World War II. It will be the worst war ever.

I can’t tell you exactly when this is going to happen, but the Bible tells us where World War III will originate. The “Sixth Trumpet” prophecy is found in Revelation 9:14-15:

Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

These angels were bound in the Euphrates River, which flows through Turkey, Syria, and Iraq, and empties into the Persian Gulf. War has been raging up and down the Euphrates River since 2003 when the U.S. invaded Iraq. When they are loosed, these evil angels will carry out their assignment to kill one-third of mankind.

Out of the chaos and destruction, a strong leader will rise to promise peace and security. The Antichrist will step onto the world scene at just the right moment. He will provide firm direction but he will also demand absolute obedience.
13 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?- Revelation 13:1-4

Four Major Prophecies

There are four prophetic developments occurring right now that demonstrate how close we are to the Euphrates River War, otherwise known as World War III.

Peace Plan for the Middle East

In Genesis 15:18, God entered into a covenant with Abraham, affirming that the Promised Land would be given to his descendants. The Antichrist, according to Daniel 9: 27 will confirm this covenant with many for seven years. A peace agreement which confirms the covenant will establish Israel’s right to exist in the Holy Land and will mark the beginning of the final seven years to Armageddon. U. S. Secretary of State John Kerry has set the goal of April 29, 2014 to reach just such a peace agreement between Palestinians and Israelis. “A viable two-state solution is the only way this conflict can end,” he said, “and there is not much time to achieve it, and there is no other alternative.”

Halfway through the final seven years, the Antichrist will order the stopping of animal sacrifices on the Temple Mount, which will have been resumed by then. He will then stand in the temple claiming to be God.

Construction of Israel’s Third Temple

II Thessalonians 2:3-4 and Revelation 11:1-2 describe a temple standing on the Temple Mount three and one-half years before Armageddon. Israel has been subsidizing nonprofit organizations that advocate the building of the Third Temple atop Jerusalem’s holiest site. The Temple Institute is dedicated to the vision of the Temple’s rebuilding, and has already recreated several items to be used when services are resumed on the Temple Mount.

Preparing for the Mark of the Beast

Revelation 13:16-17 describes the control system which will be implemented during the reign of the Antichrist. During the Great Tribulation, every person on earth will be coerced into pledging allegiance to the Antichrist. Those who do so will be given a unique identification mark or number permitting them to participate in the world economy. Those who refuse will be denied the “privilege” of buying and selling.
The REAL ID Act mandates that Americans produce federally approved identification upon demand. Although it has repeatedly postponed implementation penalties, the Department of Homeland Security has announced a gradual rollout for enforcing the law, beginning in April, 2014. The Affordable Care Act, often referred to as “Obamacare,” implements a national ID system disguised within a “data hub,” and a “unique patient identifier” to verify eligibility. Concurrently making its way through Congress, as part of an immigration reform bill, is “E-Verify,” a mandated universal biometric ID required for federal approval for employment.

A War that Originates from the Euphrates River

Middle East unrest continues to boil in Libya, Iraq, Egypt and Jordan. Syria is on the brink of expanding to a full-scale war that could involve the major world powers. Analysts believe Syria may soon become a flashpoint that would divide the region along a battle lines drawn between Shia and Sunni Muslims. Iran is one of America’s and Israel’s foremost enemies and the Islamic Republic has become one of the most serious threats to stability in the Middle East. As Iran is rapidly achieving nuclear capability, the region will become far more dangerous as the number of countries engaged in nuclear activities grows. The Deputy Commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has threatened that Tehran is able to “destroy every spot” in Israel. Germany views Iran as a potential threat not just to Israel, but also to European countries.
 It is going to happen and it will affect us, our families, our nation, our world, everything. And it looks like it is coming sooner, rather than later.

EZEKIEL BIBLE PROPHECY AND WORLD WAR III

God warns Iran (Persia), with Russia (Magog), and a coalition of allies (including Turkey, Libya, and Sudan) will attack and will invade Israel.  In Ezekiel 38-39 the Bible warns this coming war between Iran (Persia) and Israel will take place sometime after Israel has been re-gathered into Her land as a nation (which was fulfilled on May 14, 1948) …  this prophetic war has never yet taken place … the only time in history Persia (Iran) has ever gone to war against Israel was to help Israel throw off the yoke of the Byzantine Empire around 614 AD.

(The Russian army will march again) Persia (IRAN), (Iran is listed first, meaning it will be the ‘lead’ ally) Ethiopia (Sudan …”Cush”), and Libya (northern Africa) are with them, all of them with shield and helmet. THE BIBLE WARNS RUSSIA WILL ALSO ACT AS A GUARD FOR SYRIA AND IRAN

“Prepare yourself  (Russia  – “Magog”) and be ready, you (Russia) and all your companies (allies) that are gathered about you (SYRIA – IRAN);  and be a  GUARD for them.” (“Them” is Iran,  Turkey, and the other allies listed)  (Ezekiel 38:7)  A “guard” protects, defends, blocks threats of “international sanctions”…  and provides weapons, technology, intelligence, command, and control … and often stays quietly hidden in the shadows until the time is right.

‘Thus says the Lord GOD:  “On that Day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: You (the one who leads Russia) will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; (the cities in Israel are no longer ‘walled’) I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’ to take plunder and to take booty,      (Greed, envy, and arrogance will fuel this invasion) to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, (look at Israel today) and against a people gathered from the nations,  (this will take place after 1948!) who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the end.

Sheba (Saudi Arabia), Dedan (Kuwait), (Saudi Arabia and Kuwait will not join this invasion) the merchants of Tarshish (may be England), all their young lions (may be former colonies like Canada, Australia, and the US) will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? (Greed, envy, and arrogance will fuel this invasion …) Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder? “Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, (“Gog” is either the powerful angelic being or a powerful human  leader of “Magog” … Russia!) Thus says the Lord GOD: On that Day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know  it?
Then you will come from your place out of the far NORTH, (literally “uttermost parts of the North” … take a globe and look “FAR north” of Israel) you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army. You will come up against My (God’s) people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I (God) will bring you against My Land (Israel), so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.”   (For God will destroy this invading army …)
Thus says the Lord GOD: “Are you (Gog) he of whom I have spoken in former days (Prophecy fulfilled!) by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days  that I (God) would bring you against them?” (Ezekiel 38:11-17)
EZEKIEL 38:18-23
“And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord GOD, “that MY fury will show in My face. For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the Earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’
I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord GOD. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. (The invading armies will be decimated by God!) Thus I (God) will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 38:18-23)
THE TIME HAS COME !
We are not exactly sure when this attack/invasion will take place but, from current news headlines, it looks as though it is now getting very close.  As noted above, if you study your history books you will find the only time in history Iran (Persia) has invaded Israel was in 614 AD, and this invasion was to help Israel break the yoke of the Byzantine Empire.
The current threats of war the US and NATO members are making against Syria and Iran will involve Russia, China and … Israel represent  the first time in history the world has seen the imminent fulfillment of this prophecy.  Add the fact Russia is fully backing Iran and Syria will quickly turn against Israel when the US will attack, and all of these nations either are, or soon will be, armed with nuclear weapons, you will find the world may soon be facing this terrible prophetic war.

THE INVADING ARMIES WILL BE DESTROYED
In Ezekiel 39 the Bible goes on to warn the invading armies will be utterly destroyed … by GOD!  Also in Ezekiel 39 there are hints this coming war may go nuclear because Israel will wait months to enter the battlefield after the battle, they will “set apart men regularly employed” (professionals) to bury the dead, and later if a bone is spotted it is to be “marked” for the professionals to bury (exactly the same procedures that are now found in our military nuclear – biological – chemical “battlefield cleanup” manuals today) … the aftermath of this invasion will be very, very gruesome.
Some scholars feel it must be part of, or the beginning of “The Battle of Armageddon” (because of some of the terminology used), and others believe it must happen sometime before Armageddon and will set the stage for the coming “Antichrist” (who will rise over 10 nations which were part of the Roman Empire) to fill the world power vacuum that will be left after this coming war. The United States will be “neutralized” sometime before this attack and will be unwilling or unable to help defend Israel, for the Bible warns Israel must stand alone … with God! More importantly, many good Bible prophecy scholars believe the strange prophetic event called  “The Rapture” must take place sometime before this coming battle.

Many people will simply yawn and ignore these Bible prophecies and the headlines we are now seeing. Yet, God does NOT fulfill His prophecies or prophetic warnings in secret, but so all the world can see.  For many years now a number of Bible prophecy teachers and scholars have been warning the one piece of the puzzle missing was for Turkey (a NATO ally-nation) to turn toward Russia and Iran and against Israel (as this prophecy predicts.) The world has waited over 2,500 years to see the headlines we are now seeing …
This prophetic war between Iran and Israel has never yet taken place … and it is very much a part of the coming “Apocalypse” and Armageddon scenario.  God has been warning and preparing this generation for this coming war for well over 10 years … and the headlines concerning this coming war can now be found almost daily all around the world.

God is trying to get our attention and to draw those who are His back to Him before it is too late.  With open arms and with tears of joy God promises to welcome and to shelter and comfort ALL who will come to Him before these events take place (or before their earthly bodies die) … yet, the Bible warns God will not mourn, nor have mercy, on those who reject and ignore and mock His Word and His warnings.

Nostradamus Prophecies about World War III

Those studying the Prophecies of Nostradamus say that he has indicated the possibility of a Third World War. Indeed, in some of his quatrains he mentions terrifying battles being fought with modern weapons and of events occurring in and around Europe, Asia and Africa which do not seem to have taken place till date. There is, however, a difference of opinion among the experts about the overall sequence of these events and most of all, their timing. My approach to deciphering the quatrains is based on the assumption that if a world wide war of this magnitude indeed takes place, it must have been mentioned in prophecies written in various religious texts and prophecies of non-religious nature which are part of the folklore of different cultures.
I believe that a comparative study of all such prophecies vis-à-vis those of Nostradamus, along with insights into the local culture, tradition, history etc. may enable us to construct a more detailed picture of the prophesized events than what is possible by studying the prophecies of Nostradamus in isolation. Most of these prophecies concentrate on the local perspective of a global war. But by finding out the similarities with other prophecies, we can find the global connection of the local events.
Contrary to what many of us think, prophesized events are neither inevitable nor are their time of occurrence fixed. A prophesized event is the one which is most likely to happen. It is merely one of the several possibilities. Similarly, even if an event takes place, its timing is not fixed. The deciding factor is the human free will. Collective human free will can alter an event, change its timing or even stop it entirely. Some events are hard to change for it requires a collective decision moving away entirely from the “logical” course. Sometimes, even an individual’s decision may alter an event having wide implications.
Most affected by human free will is the timing of an event. While collective human behavior is hard to change, the time of the event taking place changes according to collective or individual decisions. Some prophecies do indicate a timing of the war, not in terms of the exact date but by mentioning the appearance of certain signs like a specific astrological conjunction or an event preceding the war. Broadly speaking, the various prophecies indicate that the Third World War will be preceded by an unprecedented increase in large-scale natural calamities all over the world like big earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, famines etc. Localized wars, revolutions, political disturbances and large scale terrorist attacks will increase.
Assassinations of high profile leaders will take place and tensions between various countries will rise. The economies of various countries will be severely affected, leading to unemployment or inflation. The actual war would be of a short duration but is said to be several times more destructive in terms of the cost of human lives and property than all the previous world wars taken together. To summarize what I have analyzed in this site, based on various prophecies, the Third World War would start when Russia suddenly attacks Europe in coalition with certain Middle Eastern countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Libya and probably China. Prior to the World War III, USA would be severely crippled by terrorist attacks, assassinations, a civil war (?) and an economic collapse.
Prior to that, there would be a civil war in Italy, during which the Vatican would be overrun by the mob. The Pope would escape but many of his cardinals would die. The palace and the chapels would be burnt down. While on the run, the Pope would be captured and killed. There would be a schism in the Vatican and three Popes would reign at the same time, propped up by competing powers. Supported by US and other catholic countries, the Papacy would be shifted elsewhere and a “true” Pope would be elected there. Europe would be almost overrun by the Russian and eastern forces and many of its cities and also those of USA would be destroyed by conventional weapons as well as weapons of mass destruction like nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. Russia would attack from the North as well as from the East of Europe. An Arab / Iranian army would attack from the south. The Pope, and later the British Prime Minister would be forced to flee to the US.
Paris would be destroyed by “revolutionaries” within France. The attack on the US would stop the Civil War there. New types of weapons, like Chemical Weapons and particularly what appears to be portable Laser weapons, would be used in the war. At the same time an unprecedented disaster would take place. A comet would suddenly appear over the earth in the peak of the war, would break into several pieces and fall to the earth. Smaller pieces would rain fire on cities and forests all over the world, burning them down. A large piece would fall into the sea creating a Tsunami of Biblical proportions, flooding parts of Europe (including Britain), USA and Africa. One medium sized chunk would fall on land, creating a huge crater, resulting in earthquake and volcano activities all over the world.
This event would loosen the grip of the invading army over Europe. A joint coalition of US and European forces under the leadership of a charismatic leader “Chiren” would organize a counter-attack against the invading forces in Europe and elsewhere. The Russian forces in Europe would be almost destroyed by the counter-attack and this would lead to a revolution in Russia and the Russian leader who started the war would be assassinated. Russia, under a new leader would then join the western coalition and fight against its former allies, who would eventually be defeated. The Pope would return to Europe and Chiren would be crowned the Monarch. Peace would return to the world after a loss of almost two-thirds of its population and the wealth of nations accumulated over millennia. But this would surely not be the end of the world. It is hard to understand at this stage why Russia would suddenly attack Europe. Yet, most of the prophecies seem to agree on this part.
Logically too, it is only Russia which has the capability to take on the might of USA and Europe, even after the break up of its empire. It still has sufficient nuclear weapons, technology and manpower to do so. The overall picture of the events leading to the World War is not clear. What appears from some prophecies is that immediately preceding the war, Russia would have tensions with the west over some Middle Eastern affair. But the actual war would begin after the assassination of a political leader in the Balkan area, who could be the famous “Mabus” often discussed in the context of Nostradamus’s prophecies. The Russian attack might be a result of its perception that the assassination, probably in one of its friendly countries, could be a prelude to an western invasion and the best way would be to pre-empt it.
A major terrorist attack on the US, assassination of some world leaders and another war in the Middle East may precede the Third World War, apart from numerous natural disasters. Some prophecies say that before the 3rd World War, Israel would grant statehood to Palestine. Then oil would be discovered there and a war would start between Israel and Palestine. It is probable that it is this war that would generate tensions between USA and Russia, since US and Russian fleets are said to confront each other in a tense standoff in the Mediterranean before the war in yet another prophecy. The Bible and the Islamic texts also mention Iraq. It is said that the river Euphrates would dry up and something would be discovered in its dried up riverbed, which would cause much tension among nations.
There are also prophecies on the destruction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque / Temple Mount in Jerusalem before the war and the death of Saddam Hussein in US custody even before his trial begins. With the death of Pope John Paul II on 3rd April 2005, the Prophecies of St. Malachy have once again become the topic of discussion. Malachy termed Pope John Paul II – the 110th Pope since his prophecy, as “De Labore Solis” or “The labor of the Sun”. Pope John Paul II was born on 18th May, 1920, the day when a Solar Eclipse took place. His burial was set on 8th April, 2005 and on that day a Solar Eclipse took place once again, making the prophecy of Malachy more meaningful. The next Pope, the 111th and the penultimate, was termed “The Glory of Olive” by Malachy. “Peter the Roman” coming after him, would be the last Pope, during whose time, the world would come to an end. Many say that the original prophecy did not mention “Peter the Roman” and his name was inserted afterwards and that “The Glory of the Olive” would be the last Pope. This prophecy was fulfilled (or made to fulfill) by Cardinal Ratzinger, who after his election as Pope took the name “Pope Benedict XVI”. St. Benedict started the order of Benedictines or “Olivetans”, as they are popularly known. However, if we go by the prophecies of Abbott “Merlin” Joachim, St. Malachy’s prophecy would signify the deeds during his Papacy, rather than the name he takes.
There are some contradictions in our understanding of the prophecies of St. Malachy and those of Nostradamus. But many prophecies, including those of Nostradamus speak of a “Great Pope” reigning after the war along with the “Great Monarch”. Nostradamus says in V.56 – Through the death of a very old Pope will be elected a Roman of good age. It will be said of him that he weakens the (Holy) Seat, but he will hold it long and with stinging effort. This quatrain may refer to the election of an aged Pope of the Roman Catholic Church, after the death of a very old Pope Following the death of Pope John Paul II., Joseph Ratzinger, aged 78 was elected Pope Benedict XVI. He was one of the oldest Popes in history at the time of election. Criticized by many within the Church as fundamentalist and divisive, Nostradamus seems to say that this Pope would reign for a long time inspite of the criticism and would run the affairs of the Church with a strong hand.
There are numerous prophecies on Earth Changes occurring before or during the war. Notable are the visions of Edgar Cayce in this respect. It is predicted that the US coastline from Los Angeles to San Francisco would break up and sink into the sea following a huge earthquake, resulting in the death of millions. Several other areas all over the world would sink into the sea, including Japan and new lands would rise from the sea in many places. Edgar Cayce said that Atlantis, located near the Bimini Islands would rise from the sea. The weather would also change drastically in many areas of the world. We are already experiencing changes in the global weather pattern, the last decade being the warmest in the recorded history. The contents of this site, including the sequence of events would be continuously updated as I go on analyzing various prophecies and as the actual events unfold.  "Does Bible prophecy predict that there will be a World War 3 (III, three) before the end times?"There is no doubt that world war will be a part of the future. Christ plainly taught that there would be war prior to His return (Matthew 24:4-31). Some hold that He spoke generally of the Church age in verses 4-14 and spoke of the tribulation period starting at its mid-point in verses 15-31. Others believe that Christ spoke of only the seven-year period known as the tribulation in verses 4-31. Though verses 4-14 do seem to be giving general descriptions, they parallel the description given early in Revelation 6, which records details concerning the beginning of the tribulation. Matthew 24:6-7 says there will be "wars and rumors of wars...For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes." Here, Christ makes it very clear that war will play a significant role in the last seven years prior to His return.

To be more specific, the future does hold at least one more world war. There is nothing in Scripture that says there will be only a certain number of world wars. World Wars I and II are not explicitly mentioned in Scripture, nor is a possible third World War. It is only the last war that is mentioned in detail, which allows the interpretation that there may be others before the final conflict.

John the Apostle was shown what the end times would be like, specifically the last seven years prior to Christ's return. Beginning in Revelation 6, he recorded what he saw concerning the future. War is found in this chapter, and continues to be a part of the unfolding events until Christ returns in chapter 19 (Revelation 6:2; 4; 11:7; 12:7; 13:4, 7; 16:14; 17:14; 19:11; 19:19).

Revelation 19:11 says, ". . . in righteousness He [Christ] judges and wages war." Revelation 19:19 says John "saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, assembled to make war against Him (Christ) who sat upon the horse, and against His army." Take special notice that it says the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Christ. This clearly describes a world war. It also should be noted that the victor in this war is clearly Christ, who seizes the beast/antichrist and the false prophet and casts them into the lake of fire, and the armies that followed them are destroyed (Revelation 19:20-21). So, although there will be at least one more world war, there is no doubt of the outcome—righteousness will prevail as Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, defeats all who oppose Him.

It is also worth mentioning at this time that following the 1,000-year reign of Christ, there will be another uprising which could possibly have the scope of a world war. Satan will be bound for 1,000 years and then released. Upon his release, he leads a rebellion among the peoples of the earth. Christ quickly puts down this rebellion and permanently judges Satan, casting him into the lake of fire as He did with the beast/antichrist and the false prophet (Revelation 20:7-10).

 Ezekiel 32:24  “There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.

32:25  They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain.”

If you start reading Ezekiel and understand that all the people around Israel are being prophesied to being slain with the sword. In the above verses, God speaks through Ezekiel about a country called “Elam”.. Where is the land called Elam? This was the name of the land east of Mesopotamia and southwest, which is modern day Iran. Continue reading and as you come to chapter 31 and beyond, it appears to be a chronological order of disaster for all the people who surround Israel. These chapters lead up to the well known prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39.

Many bible scholars believe that a lot of these prophecies were fulfilled in time that Ezekiel actually wrote these chapters through Holy Spirit directives. Since we know that Ezekiel 38-39 has not been fulfilled as of yet, then logically, we can assume that the passages are a duality of prophecy that will be fulfilled in the last days.

As Ezekiel names each country that will receive judgment from God, we see that they are the same countries that are modern day enemies of Israel since her foundation as a sovereign country in 1948. God names Egypt in chapters 30-31 along with the nations that comprise northern Africa such as Ethiopia, Libya  and others in confederation with Egypt called Chub. As you progress though chapters leading to chapter 38, judgment is pronounced on modern day Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and those countries that are touching the land of Israel then and today.  Each will fall by the sword “which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living.” Maybe a clear reference to Muslim terrorism we deal with today?

You’ll notice that in chapter 34, God pronounces judgment on ancient Israel for their lack of being a shepherd to the flock of their people, which historically we know that Israel was taken to Babylonia for 70 years for not following the laws of God and His judgments. But notice that these chapters cover roughly 2500 years up to and including our modern era. God is telling Ezekiel what will happen in the very days that we live in and the judgment of  those who come against His people Israel. Israel is back in her promised land, given to them by covenant by Almighty God for a perpetual and eternal inheritance that no one can annul. Israel is still surrounded by her ancient enemies, many of them came from their same ancestor, the patriarch Abraham. It has been a feud between a family of nations for nigh 4000 years, and is about to come to a climax. I believe sooner than later.

ARE WE IN WORLD WAR III?

Considering the news from the Middle East about ISIS, the Iranians which are Shiite, and Saudi Arabia, which is Sunni, we are in what I believe is a regional war between two sects of Islam and both are jockeying for political power based on their interpretation of what the Quran says, and who they follow as their perceived leader of their so called “religion”. Personally, it’s not a religion, but a theocracy of political, moral, and spiritual governance based on Sharia Law. But let us focus on what may be coming to the people who surround the one country that is in the center of all this political conflict, Israel.

Right now, our “usurper” in chief has been pushing for a nuclear deal with one portion of the Islamic religion Iran, that is attempting to become the dominant power in the region by developing nuclear weapons, thus threatening all who live in this area of our planet and extending to the entire world. My question has always been “How long will Israel allow this threat to continue from Iran?” I have pondered this question now for nigh 15 years.  Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu gave an impassioned plea to our US Congress in March warning of the “Iran Deal” as a bad deal. We could spend several commentaries focusing on the conflict between Israel’s PM and the present POTUS to include shenanigans to influence the Israeli elections, but thank God, Netanyahu was re-elected, as he is the only leader in Israel who will stand up to this looming threat of Iran.  But my focus in this message, is what could be next in the unrest of an “Arab Spring” and the regional war that is brewing in a cauldron that is about to explode all over the news.

WHEN WILL ISRAEL ACT?

It has been reported that Israel looked for a green light from Washington DC in 2014 to take our Iran’s nuclear ambitions, but was threatened by the POTUS, as reported in Israeli News outlets:

“The Bethlehem-based news agency Ma’an has cited a Kuwaiti newspaper report Saturday, that US President Barack Obama thwarted an Israeli military attack against Iran's nuclear facilities in 2014 by threatening to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran.

Following Obama's threat, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was reportedly forced to abort the planned Iran attack.

According to Al-Jarida, the Netanyahu government took the decision to strike Iran some time in 2014 soon after Israel had discovered the United States and Iran had been involved in secret talks over Iran’s nuclear program and were about to sign an agreement in that regard behind Israel's back.”

Is it any wonder that Netanyahu came to the US Congress to present his case to the American people and to warn of the danger, to them, and to the world? This is speaking of our only ally in the Middle East, as Israel has been our friend since its birth in 1948 and has been a partner in providing intelligence to the USA about the dangers that abound in the area. Let’s not forget the technological advances that have benefited this country, because of our inherit friendship. But that friendship is over, as long as this present administration threatens the only real ally in the region. Oh, I forget, now we have Iran that is considered a partner in insuring peace in the region according to the administration through their major mouthpiece, Susan Rice. YEAH, RIGHT!! When I heard that stupid remark, my mouth had to be picked up off the floor. Has this POTUS gone totally nuts? Are we to trust the major exporter of terrorism in the region as a partner in peace? This is insane, you say? I totally agree with you.  The man is a kindergartener in foreign policy or a closet Muslim. Take your pick.

Israel is now pretty much on her own. Israel looks for regional players who will stop the spread of Iranian power in the region and has found an unlikely partnership in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Yes, you heard right. Two of the past enemies of the state of Israel, and still are, helping each other to defeat Iranian power spreading to Yemen and the Houthi rebels that are being financed by Iran. For now, they put aside their differences to attack what the region fears more than their mutual hatred of Israel, the conquering of the Middle East by Iran. These countries can no longer rely on the USA to be their protector anymore. They have taken on mounting an attack on Iranian power, by themselves. Not only is that contradiction in terms of Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia in a regional alliance, but something was reported that tells me that the countdown to an Iranian strike on their nuclear facilities is imminent.

HAS ISRAEL DEVELOPED THEIR OWN BUNKER BUSTER BOMBS?

I  read a report of a military depot being bombed and the blast was so large, that only a bunker buster bomb could have penetrated the storage facilities that were buried. Arutz Sheva in Israel reports the following quote:

“Israel has developed and tested its own bunker buster bomb, that has been described as “a very credible military option,” to use against Iran.

The 500-pound “MP-500” bomb is laser-guided, and has been shown penetrating four reinforced concrete walls. Iran has buried several of its nuclear facilities, including a uranium enrichment plant, under concrete bunkers in mountainous areas.

The government-owned Israel Military Industries (IMI) developed the bomb, an upgrade of the U.S. Mk82 bunker buster.

‘The lethality, precision ... and relatively low weight enables its use against multiple targets in a single pass; an element that increases the operational effectiveness of attack,’ according to IMI.”

“Israel is preparing to improve its capabilities to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities by enlarging its aerial refueling aircraft to carry enough fuel for F-15 and F-16 warplanes that would be used in an attack on Iran.

The Obama administration reportedly has offered to help Israel improve its bunker-busting capabilities on condition that the Netanyahu government does not stage an attack on Iran before the American elections in November. The White House has denied the report, and Israeli officials have said there is no connection between the elections and Israel’s timing of an attack.”(end quote)

Israel used 707 airplanes as flying bombing platforms to attack Yemen and a signal to Iran that they are capable of bombing their nuclear facilities. Knowing the advanced military planning that is a hallmark of the IDF,  I see them using both platforms of F-35 jets to deliver these bombs (planned for delivery this next year), along with laser guided bombs from high altitude 707’s, plus Saudi Arabia has given them the green light to fly over their airspace to provide the pathway to destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities that  Saudi Arabia fears and has cleared the way for an Israeli approach. This could be a long  campaign,  as Iranian nuclear facilities are wide-spread and in hardened underground facilities. I have read that Israel knows that they cannot destroy everything in their nuclear program, but can set the program back many years by hitting bottle neck attack points (a kind of choke point) that would virtually cripple the program using precision laser guided strikes. I’ve often wondered if this strike would be anything but conventional weapons.  Israel could resort to nuclear weapons to make the devastation widespread and total in its destruction if they felt conventional bombs would not complete their objective of destroying Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Of course, this would raise the loud protest of the international community no matter what weapon is used, but the howling would be even louder if it were nuclear. So, I believe this will begin the assault on Israel from her neighbors of Psalm 83 and their eventual defeat and conquest. I believe the entire world will be against Israel no matter the outcome and no one coming to help her, when the Iranian/Russian coalition decides to attack. (Gog-Magog). It is ordained in prophecy that the true God of Israel will be their protector by destroying this invading army on the mountains of Israel and revealing Himself as alive and well to His people of Israel. So ushers in a relative peaceful existence for Israel as they clamor to rebuild their planned third temple and animal sacrifices are again initiated. Peace, but a false peace based on guarantees of “one man” who makes a deal that Israel will embrace and sign a contract with the devil and death.

Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. 7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. 8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. 9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. 13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.- Revelation 7:1-14

WANT ANOTHER REASON THAT AN ATTACK IS IMMINENT?

As has been reported, our good friend in Russia, Vladimir Putin (of course, I jest) has agreed to deliver the S-300 missiles to Iran after years of holding them up.

Wall Street Journal- “The Kremlin lifted its self-imposed ban on the delivery of a powerful missile air-defense system to Iran on Monday, stoking sharp criticism from the White House and Israel and casting fresh doubt on the international effort to curb Tehran’s nuclear program.

Any delivery of an air-defense system would complicate airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities by Israel or the U.S. should the diplomatic track fail.

Iran thinks that Russia will deliver the missile system this year.  Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, told the Interfax news agency in Moscow on Tuesday.”

Any delay by Israel to allow Iran to receive the S-300 missile that would be capable of knocking out Israeli planes in any attack, so they can use Israeli bunker buster bombs by Israeli jets would require mounting an attack THIS YEAR.

All who have been watching the signs of the times, have wondered what could be the meaning of the Blood Moons that have already had three pass in the last year and the present  year? We still have one more Blood Moon this fall during Tabernacles and have been linked in history with “something” significant happening to Israel. Could this be what will be happening this year? And what will be the result of such an attack? I believe you will see condemnation from the POTUS against Israel and withdrawing support from the tiny Jewish state. I see UN sanctions coming upon Israel and Israel’s enemies smelling blood and vulnerability and mounting an ill-conceived attack to fulfill the Psalm 83 prophecy. Can you see how quickly we are moving in Bible prophecy that leads up to Ezekiel 38-39? One will lead directly to the next. How long between the two? I don’t believe it will be very long, but I believe long enough for Israel to finally feel safe. Ezekiel chapter 38:

38:10  “Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:

38:11  And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

38:12  To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.”

WHAT COULD BE COMING?

Please, this is only my wondering about what could be coming, based on scripture. I am no prophet, but God is moving this along rather quickly from the perspective of any bible believing Christian, that is awake and watching. The events are coming fast and furious as we move along in these last few years and I fully expect will move at “warp speed” as the coming of our Lord draws even closer. All could be done within this year and 2016. Next year could very well be a dramatic year for Bible Prophecy. Let’s makes some possible scenarios and assumptions that very well could develop.

1.      Israel attacks Iranian nuclear facilities and putting the country years back in their quest for the bomb by destroying essential “choke points” of their program.

2.      Iran, if not decimated, will quickly instruct their proxies of Hezbollah, Syria, and Gaza to mount an attack against Israel from the west, north and east.

3.      If this is the fulfillment of Psalm 83, then I see Jordan, Egypt and possibly Saudi Arabia, even though they have partnered with Israel in the Yemen war, they still hate Israel.

4.      Israel, with Almighty God’s help will destroy all attackers who come against her, thus neutering the threat from its neighbors and blunting the effect from their most feared nemesis, Iran.  This perceived calm will last for a very short time.

5.      Israel will effectively own all gas and oil of the Middle East. They will be the direct competitor of the Russian Bear, who with their dictator found in Vladimir Putin, could be the leader spoken of in the Gog-Magog coalition that comes against Israel found in Ezekiel 38-39 as he desires what is not his…gas and oil.

6.      How long after this devastating defeat of this coalition by Almighty  God Himself, destroying 80% of this invading army,  will a man arise and propose a 7 year peace plan to allow Israel to live in “peace and security”? Thus the rise of the Anti-Christ could be within the next few years or sooner.

All the above scenarios has been believed to be right around the corner for years, but one ingredient was needed to propel this into a imminent possibility, and that is the attack on Iran. We have been watching this for all of the 21st century, which we are in year 15. I believe WW3 has formed right now, and unless Islam is defeated in near total, then this war will continue as ISIS, Iran, and Saudi Arabia jockey for complete control of the region and will only spread further into neighboring countries. The only thing that stands in their way is Israel and the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

There is one last element that should make you long for the coming of our Lord, being very close at hand. If this above scenario play out along, or near what I have hypothesized, then when this ruler who proclaims peace and safety for Israel arises out of obscurity, then another prophecy will be fulfilled beforehand. 2nd Thessalonians:

2:7  “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

2:8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

2:9  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

2:10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”

As scripture has spoken, iniquity has been at work since the time of Jesus and has been held back by One Person. There are many interpretations of who this restrainer is and what he is restraining. Many deny that it has to do with a removal of the church, before the man of sin can be revealed. But is that true? I don’t believe it is that there is anybody but God who is holding back the full sway of lawlessness driven by Satan in his attempt to destroy mankind. So who is this restrainer that 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 mentions that is holding back sin and lawlessness? What or who that restraining force is, Paul does not say specifically in this letter. I have preached that it is the Holy Spirit for years, but I went to the internet to see what the consensus was. Many have speculated as to the identity of the restrainer, naming the restraining force as 1) human government; 2) gospel preaching; 3) the binding of Satan; 4) the providence of God; 5) the Jewish state; 6) the church; 7) the Holy Spirit; and 8) Michael. Whatever now restrains the Antichrist of vv. 3, 4, 8–10 from being revealed in the fullness of his apostasy and evil must be more than human or even angelic power.

The power that holds back Satan from bringing the final apostasy and unveiling of his Satan-possessed false Christ (the Antichrist) must be supernatural. It must be God’s power in operation that holds back Satan, so that the “man of sin,” “the son of destruction” (v. 3) won’t be able to come until God permits it by removing the restraining power. The reason for the restraint was so that the Antichrist would be revealed at God’s appointed time and no sooner, just as was Christ (Gal. 4:4), because God controls Satan.

The Holy Spirit of God is the only Person with sufficient (supernatural) power to do this restraining. How does He do it? Through Christians, He works in society to hold back the swelling tide of lawless living. At some point, though, He will be removed from the earth, allowing sin to have dominion over mankind. This can only happen when the Church—all true believers in Jesus Christ—are removed. This is because the Holy Spirit lives within each believer. When the church leaves the earth, the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way in the sense that His unique lawlessness-restraining ministry—through God's people— will be removed .


The removal of the Restrainer at the time of the removal of the church from planet earth must obviously precede the “day of the Lord.” But as soon as individuals again start placing their faith in Christ during the tribulation, the Holy Spirit will again be “present” in the world. His ministry of restraining, though, seems limited to the time before the tribulation.

Those who read this message know that the time of the end of days is upon us. Even if they are not a Christian now, they know that the world cannot continue in its downward slide. Something has got to give, and what will give is the removal of the Bride of Christ and the beginning of a period that last 7 years with a one world ruler, known as the Anti-Christ. The signs of this imminent event are screaming at the world. Do you feel it? Have you fear in your heart what is coming upon the earth? If you don’t now, you most certainly will. Jesus spoke of such unbridled fear coming upon all who live into what is called the Tribulation. Luke chapter 21:

21:25  “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;

21:26  men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

21:27  Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

21:28  Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

What I have spoken of here in this message gives you fair warning of what is coming upon the earth and sooner than what you may even think or imagine. I do not consider myself a “watchman on the wall” of the caliber that Ezekiel was, but God has impressed me to warn you in the words of Ezekiel chapter 33:

33:2  "Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: "When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman,

33:3  when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people,

33:4  then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head.

33:5  He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life.

33:6  But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman"s hand."

I have blown the trumpet of alarm more times than I can imagine. Now some may continue to scoff and mock as the Apostle Peter spoke of in 2nd Peter chapter 3:

3:3 “ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

3:4  And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

3:5  For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

3:6  Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

3:7  But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”

So my question to you is, where will you be found? Will you be those who scoff and mock and say it’s not as bad as it seems. “Things will get better”, you say. With all the evidence around you, are you so secure in those statements? If Jesus would come tonight, and He could, will you be found in Him, or found blind and naked in your unrighteous condition? Or will you fall on your knees, or say in your heart. “Lord, save me.” John 3:15-18:

3:16  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

3:17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

3:18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

Each Russian officer has the movement order already in the bag and waits only for the word. First, the main thrust is effected against Sweden and is directed then against Norway and Denmark."

[A little further on it says:]

"At the same time sections of the Russian army will advance by West Prussia, Saxonia and Thuringia to the Rhine, in order to gain control of Calais and the Channel coast. In the south the Soviet army will join the Yugoslav army. Their armies will confederate to break in to Greece and Italy. The Holy Father must flee. He must flee fast, in order to escape the blood bath. Cardinals fall and bishops too are victims. Then they will try to advance by Spain and France to the Atlantic coast in order to unite with the army fighting in the north and to complete the military encirclement of the European mainland. The third Russian army, which task it is to occupy the left blank areas and to strengthen inland communism -- head office of the communist world government should not be Moscow, but Bamberg -- will be used no more, because the army is disturbed in its advance due to the revolutions in the south and is in rapid dissolution, while a great monarch determined by God will attack the army in the north at the Niederrhein and overpower it with the most modern weapons. 

"In Saxonia, where the back-flooding army places itself again to the battle, it will be struck  and destroyed. Thus the war is terminated in Germany. The remainder of Russia's staggering armies will be pursued deep into the internal parts of Russia and wiped out."

"...another terrible war will come from the East to the West. Russia with her secret weapons will battle America, will overrun Europe. The river Rhine will be overflowing with corpses and blood. Italy will also be harassed by a great revolution, and the Pope will suffer terribly."

Josef Stockert (1947)

"Tanks roll over Germany. These tanks will come from the east and will drive with great speed to the west. Where obstacles are put in their way, they flatten everything to the ground. In three spearheads they pull to the west, along the North Sea, to Central Germany and in the south along the alps (as far as I can remember). Because of fear the people will flee to the west. In France the roads will be clogged by fleeing people and cars which cannot go forward and cannot go back. Men and women are used by the hostile army.  Those who refuse [orders] are shot.... Food and everything that the hostile army needs is taken from the population. The tank troops of the Russians will come up to the Rhine. The whole country will be full of strange soldiers who murder and rape the women without check. The people will possess neither property nor anything else. Many won't have a house and will have to live in hiding places." 

Prokop, the forest herdsman, Zwiesel (1887-1965) 

"I sleep and sleep not when I lie in my hut at night. But things I see, frightening. I don't sleep because I can hear my bulls out there and I hear the wind and the rain. Once I saw the wind bringing fire and all the trees burn like matches. Another time I saw that everything is in decay, no human can be seen and no house, only ruins and debris. And again and again clouds come, fire-red, and it flashes, but it does not thunder."

"Once everything is dark down on Waldhaus Street [ed. comment: road near Zwiesel]. Someone goes around with a burning branch and shouts: 'Am I really the last one? Am I really still the only one?' And again the sky becomes yellow like a lemon as it hangs far down on the horizon. No bird sings. I do not find any bull or water anymore. Neither on the mountain nor down in the Regen (ed. comment: river near Zwiesel) you will find any drop. It had to come in such a way, because the people believe in nothing. Everyone seems to think that he lives forever and everyone thinks of what he appears to be and still can become. There will be a time when they all begin to become crazy and think that they can live from prudence and not from work. Those who work will be fewer and fewer. Those who live off the working ones will become more numerous. To rule is thus easier than to work." 

Sepp Wudy, the farmer's farmhand (died in the First World War):

"As Sepp was called up to war [World War I] he said he wouldn't come back because he has to die in ice and snow. As it happened, he perished during the world war in the Dolomites. This is not the last war (1st world war), Sepp said, because then soon there will be another, and only after that the last one comes. This last one is more terrible than the other one. To know what it will be like at the time, you will be able to talk to your cousin in Vienna from your own house, and if you needed him rapidly he could be with you within one hour. 

"The bohemian forest will one day be burned like a straw barn. Don't run away when the gray birds are flying. If you see this, know that the end is near and it has already begun. It will then be like one hundred years ago. So much the people are thrown back and with this they will be punished for their wantonness. 

"You have the meal in front of you and are not allowed to eat it, because it brings you death; and you have the water and may not drink it, because it would also mean your death. From the Osser (mountain at the Bavarian-Bohemian boundary) there will still be a water source -- there you can drink. The air corrodes into the skin like a poison. Put on all the clothing you have and don't even let the tip of your nose remain uncovered. Place yourself into a hole and wait till it is all over.  It will not last long.  Or look for a cave in the mountains. When you loose your hair it has gotten you. Take a Kronwittbirl (Juniper fruit) into the mouth. This will help. And don't drink milk for (at least) eight weeks.

"It will be bad, and the later-born ones will have to learn writing and reading anew. The cause will be that the people do not recognize the Devil anymore, because he is dressed beautifully and promises everything to them. 

"When no owl cries any more and the hares come to the house and collapse, then go away from the water and don't mow grass. In these times there will be no more border against Bavaria, but the border will be I cannot say." [Ed. comment: Wudy lived in Bohemia, few miles away from the border to Bavaria. This border doesn't exist anymore since the Czechs joined the European Union.)

"However, what do I say? It does not concern you but tell it to your children and grandchildren. They will have to face it and will experience the rest of the story. I also do not understand those that have no modesty at all.  People will become increasingly base and godless, so things must come to a head.  In the end [Europe] will be like [it was] one hundred years ago. I see even more, but I can't understand it and can't tell it. With the decline of faith everything goes downhill, and everything gets confused. Nobody sees clearly. The elite already believe nothing at all, the masses will be made crazy. In the church they play dance music and the parson will sing to it. Then they also dance, but outside there will be the celestial sign, which announces the beginning of great mischief. There will be a brightness in the north, like never seen before, and then the fire will rise up all around.

"Go to Bavaria, where blessed Mary protects the people; but there too all will be chaotic.
Everything will come like the Stormberger has told, but he didn't tell everything or they didn't understand him. Because it will be worse than bad." [Ed. comment: Stormberger is another seer who lived about 50-75 years before in almost the same region, his predictions are still known there today.]

"Farmer, tell this to your children: they shall run to the mountain when everything crashes. I'm only a farmhand and I don't know if it's a good or bad spirit which is showing me all these things. But I know it will happen."

Josef Naar, called "Fuhrmannl", Bohemia (1691-1763)

"Only a few humans will survive the great war. The area of Pilsen will figure in the outcome. Who isn't at least two miles distant from this place, should creep away on hands and feet because everything is destroyed -- body and soul. Signs of the large world war are: if the way to the forest is closed with barriers and wooden locks; if iron roads are built by the forest of Bohemia and around; and humans travel in fiery cars. The last "flying" road will be built near the Kubani mountain, (1362m high). In the houses the foxes and hare go in and out the windows, everywhere nettles grow. The city of Prague will be destroyed. The whole of Bohemia will be deserted. From afar people will come back to look around."

Farmer Eilert (Jasper) (1764-1833)

"In the evening one will say: Peace, peace. But there is no peace, and in the morning the enemies already stand before the doors. But it does not last long, and those will be in security who have found a good hiding place for only a few days. Also, the escape will be very rapid.... From the east this war will break out. I am frightened of the east. [At first] our soldiers will go to the borders, soon thereafter returning home calmly. But hardly they are at home when the enemy is there in such strength it's as if they grew like mushrooms out of the ground. [Ed. comment: This is suggestive of the collapse of the Warsaw Pact and withdrawal of Soviet military power from Central Europe, followed by German disarmament and the rapid return of Russian troops.]

"One battle will take place at the birch tree between Unna, Hamm and Werl. There nations from half over the world will face each other. Only a few Russians will get back home to tell of their defeat.... First the Polish will come over, then they will fight against their suppressors and finally get a king.

"An important battle will be held between Unna and Hamm. One has to throw wagons and wheels in the water, otherwise the fleeing enemies take it all with them. The battle, the victory, the escape will follow so rapidly after each other, that the one who can hide himself for only a short time will escape the danger. At Cologne the last battle will take place." 

Johann Peter Knopp von Ehrenberg (1714-1794)

"Ships without horses come up the Rhine, carriages run without horses but with a buzzing sound. Then, when nobody believes it, there will be a war like there has never been before.... Foreigners will occupy the Rhine, but will be defeated after hard resistance.... When the bridge at Cologne will be finished, warriors will directly pass this bridge. Those who are requested [as reinforcements] at last come when everything is past." 

Muehlhiasl from Apoig (1753 - 1830?) 

[Ed. comment: Muehlhiasl and Stormberger could be the same person, though historians are uncertain.]

"Everything starts when a large bird or a fish flies over the forest [Ed. comment: a big airship flew over the Bavarian forest just before the First World War.] -- then the war comes, and a further one and then the last one will come. When does it come? 

"Your children will not experience it, but your grandchildren may see the beginnings. The Reds [Ed., the original German word is "Rotjankerl" ] will come on the new roads. But they do not come across the Danube. A great war will come. A small one begins it, and a big one comes across the water and makes an end to it. The war will come from the east and will end in the west, [but] the last war will be the total destroyer (Ed., der Bankabraeumer]. When you do not understand the people you meet, it is not far to the terrible day. Humans have never seen so many fires and felt so much iron before. Everything will be in disorder. Those who survive must have an iron determination. But the fighting will not last long. Nothing will help those involved, even if they believe again and pray to God. They will become ill and no humans will be able to help them. It will not last for a long period of time. It will all happen so rapidly that nobody can believe it, but there is much blood and many corpses. It will happen so rapidly that one who has two loaves of bread under his arm and drops one of them, does not need to bend down to pick it up because one loaf will be enough. The war will not be over until the death birds stop flying. When you afterwards find a cow beside the Danube, the cow should be given a golden bell.

"Those who begin anew will build a church and praise God.  Those who survived will say to each other "Brother, are you still living?" and will greet each other with "Jesus Christ be praised!" This will not exclusively be only with us, but all over the whole world, and right will become right again and the peace will govern a thousand years."

Anton Johansson, Sweden (1858-1909) 

[Regretfully I have no literal version of his predictions, but he is quite well known for accurately predicting the sinking of the Titanic and naming one of its victims, millionaire John Jacob Astor VI. Johansson foresaw the events of World War I, accurately predicted San Francisco's earthquake of 1906 and a volcanic eruption in 1902 that demolished the city of St. Pierre, Mertinique. He said the Third World War would break out at "the end of July, beginning of August."  Her further added: "I do not know the year." 

Johansson predicted the following details:

    1) India will be occupied by china. 

    2) New diseases used as weapons will cause 25 million people to die.

    3) Persia and Turkey will be conquered by what seem to be Russian troops. 

    4) Revolutionaries will instigate unrest and war in India and Egypt to facilitate the occupation of India and Europe. 

    5) The Russians will conquer the Balkans. 

    6) There will be great destruction in Italy. 

    7) The "red storm" will approach France through Hungary, Austria, northern Italy and Switzerland. France will be conquered from inside and outside. 

    8) American supply depots will fall into Russian hands. 

    9) Germany will be attacked from the east. 

    10) There will be a civil war, Germans will fight against Germans. 

    11) The Eastern Bloc will cause a civil war in England. 

    12) Russia will lead a mass attack against the United States, so U.S. forces will be prevented from reinforcing Europe. 

    13) New weapons will cause huge hurricanes and firestorms in the USA where the largest cities will be destroyed.

Matthias Stormberger (1830) 

"Two or three decades after the first war it will come a second war still larger. Almost all the nations of the world will be involved. Millions of men will die without being soldiers. Fire will fall from the sky and many great cities will be destroyed. And after the end of the Second Great War, a third universal conflagration will come. There will be weapons totally new. In one day more men will die than in all previous wars. The battles will be accomplished with artificial weapons. Gigantic catastrophes will happen. Overnight it will take place -- in a pub in Zwiesel many people will be together, and outside the soldiers will ride over the bridge. The people will run out into the forest. Those, who hide themselves at the "Fuchsenriegel" or at the "Falkenstein" remain spared."

Mitar Tarabic (1829-1899)

"When this horrible war starts woe to those armies that fly through the skies. Better off will be those who fight on ground and water. People waging this war will have their scientists who will invent different and strange cannon-balls. When they explode, these cannon-balls, instead of killing, will cast a spell over all that lives; people, armies and livestock. This spell will make them sleep, and sleep they will instead of fighting, and after they will come back to their senses. We [Serbia] will not fight in this war, but others will do battle over our heads. Burning people will fall from the sky over Pozega [a town in Serbia]. Only one country at the end of the world, surrounded by great seas, as big as our Europe [Australia?], will live in peace, without any troubles.... Upon it or over it not a single canon-ball will explode! Those who run and hide in the mountains with three crosses will find shelter and will be saved to live afterwards in abundance, happiness and love, because there will be no more wars...." 

The monk of Werl, Cologne (1801):

"There will be a terrible war; on one side will be the people who live where the sun rises, on the other all those who live where the sun sets. Russia will send out enormous masses of soldiers and Cossack cavalry. One will fight a long time without decisive result, until finally one comes to the country of the Rhine. There, one will fight so much during three days that the water of the Rhine will be reddened. This war will come when there is general contempt for religion. When nobody wants to obey any more, when one cannot distinguish the rich person from the poor, when the people give up themselves entirely to sensual pleasures, when iniquity reaches its climax believe that this time is close. What follows this battle: Peace will be returned to you, Germany; France will recover its king; the shepherd will bring the flock to its fold."

The blind young man from Prague (14th century) 

These predictions are remarkable, describing the history of Bohemia from the First World War on.

    1) One and one more and a half time there will be foreign rulers over Bohemia. [This is not clear.]

    2) At a time when one ruler is over Bohemia for more than 60 years, a big war will start after a regicide. [Ed., this seems to refer to the First World War, which started with the assassination of the Austrian crown prince.]

    3) Then, the crowned heads will fall like ripe apples from the trees. [Ed., this happened in the last months of the First World War, starting with Russia in 1917, spreading to Germany and Austria-Hungary in 1918.]

    4) The Bohemian lion will rule himself and won't be subordinated any more. [Ed., this is a clear reference to Czechoslovakia.]

    5) Two peoples will be in Bohemia. 

    6) The first (or ruling) people will persecute second people, and give them no freedom. [Mistreatment of the German minority.]

    7) Until a powerful one comes. [Hitler]

    8) Then, the lords in Prague will throw freedom to the second people, but too late.

    9) There will come another war between all the peoples of the world. [Ed., this is the Second World War, which began after Czechoslovakia was dismembered.]

    10) Germany will become a large heap of rubble and only the region of the blue stones will be spared. [Ed., the "blue stones" are the Alps.]

    11) The big war will come to an end when the cherries blossom. [Ed., Hitler was defeated in May.] 

    12) As long as the cherries grow, I wouldn't want to be a German.

    13) But when the cherries are harvested, I wouldn't want to be a Czech. [Ed., the Communists quickly took over the country.]

    14) Twice the Bohemian land will be sieved: the first time only as many Germans will remain as there is place under an oak. 

    15) Again the Czech lion will rule over Bohemia, but it's brilliance is over. 

    16) Then there will be still only one people in Bohemia.

    17) A new war will break out and this will be the shortest of all. (a) The people will destroy the world and the world will destroy the people. (b) And Bavaria has to suffer much. (c) This happens because mankind will leave God, and God will purify them. (d) When people attempt to take the creator's place the end is near. 

    18) The people in Bohemia will be destroyed by the war, and everything in the country will be buried. 

    19) Twice the Bohemian land will be sieved: the second time only as many Czechs will remain as there is space on one hand. 

    20) There won't be peace in Europe until Prague is a heap of rubble.

    23) The revenge comes from across the large water. 

    21) At the [time of the] cherry blossom Prague will be destroyed. 

    24) When for the second time the cherries mature, the refugees from Bohemia sadly return again to their their looms and fields. 

    25) But it won't be many. 

    26) And these few will ask each other: Where did you hide, and where you? 

    27) The farmers will crack the whip behind the plow and say: Here was Prague.

    28.) All over the world will be a new age, which will be called the Golden One.

The Sybille of Prague (?-1658)

"Still your rule lasts, my loved Prague, but also you will face the last hour. Prague, my dear Prague, you will find a rare and terrible end. A breath goes through your lanes, sweet and warm; surprised mankind will feel it. With horribly distorted faces thousands begin to rest and freeze despite the warmth. It comes to the end. Ten musty bells of the last church clang in the air. The slow and muddy tides of the Moldau roll as a terrible hurricane roars across the country, across the city. Yellow-grey dust and heavy, poisonous clouds take the breath from humans and cattle. The Hradschin is set on fire, in the city the walls burst.  Everywhere fire rages. The earth trembles, vibrated by the mighty quake. Deep gaps do open, devouring the dead and the living. The graves open as ransacked by spirit hands, and the skeletons smile with cruel laughter. Everything sinks in the unfathomably black depth.

"From Vyschrad a tremendous fireball comes along, rocks fly through the air and all around blazes a sea of fire. Everything that mankind's diligence has created lies in debris and ash. One can only hear the roar of the storm. Life has gone out.  I only see rubble and corpses. Slowly the clouds disappear where once the proud cathedral dome had been. I see a bloody-red fireball. It is over! Prague, your fate has been fulfilled! Where are your houses, proud city? Why do gloomy tides flood the coasts of a deserted heath? Horrible worms eat body and spirit with frightening effect. Weeds and ruins and a poisonous cloud characterizes the countryside. Is this the harvest of the human seed?"
